UNCOVER THE SECRETS OF WARSAW WITH AN ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE

Travelling should have more to do with experiencing than sightseeing. Thus, if you want to really come to know Warsaw, you need to listen to its stories. The former inhabitants, leaders, invaders and occupants of the city might live under a timeless spell, but it’s me who has the power to make even monuments, commemorating their hidden fate, reveal the most fascinating stories…

Instead of offering you tours resembling a history lecture, I’ll take you on a voyage back in time. The monuments, which we will pass on the way, will inspire various stories on the capital city and its residents – thrilling, romantic or even dramatic ones – but all of them will definitely be true. You will feel the atmosphere prevailing in Warsaw over the centuries. In addition, as your guide, I will reveal to you the historical hoaxes surrounding the city, share its secrets and dispel popular myths. UrbanTelling is a simple way of discovering the unknown face of Warsaw. Our offer includes:

  • Guided tours for organized / school groups
  • Guided tours for business groups
  • City games
  • Individual guided tours around Warsaw

Who am I?

I’m an English-speaking city guide with an untamed spirit, non-interested in lecturing you on the history of the sites passed during the tour. I believe that cities are not created by buildings or monuments, but people whose stories I will share with you to make you feel the atmosphere of the past centuries.

I inherited all the qualities needed to travel back in times from my parents – teachers and passionate city guides. No wonder that urban legends, thrilling anecdotes and dramatic stories could always be heard wandering around our home. I owe it to my parents that I started to participate in city tours and recently have become a city guide myself. Warsaw is my passion, but it may not be enough. Fortunately, I have the skills to operate tours in an interesting and effective manner, which is proved by my career in the audit industry. Isn’t it the best place to acquire the ability of dispelling myths and uncovering historical hoaxes? This, in combination with my pedagogical zeal and childhood passion.
